We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the A B Graphic International Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 30 April 2021

 

Organisation’s Structure

We are a provider of a range of Label Converting Machinery principally in the Label and Packaging industry. Our ultimate parent company is GHB Holding Limited whose head office is in England. The Group has in excess of 350 employees worldwide and operate in England, America, Germany, Spain, France and the Netherlands.

The Group has a global annual turnover of £64m.

Our Business

The Group’s Head Office is based in Bridlington, England. The business is operated through a number of group companies based in the countries stated above. In addition, there are number of independent distributors based throughout the world.

 

Our Supply Chains

Our supply chains include a number of PLC and SME’s. There are a number of suppliers who are based overseas.

 

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

 

Due Diligence processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we review our customers and supply chain on a regular basis and:

Identify and assess potential risk areas in our supply chains.
Mitigate the risk of slavery and human trafficking occurring in our supply chains.
Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains.
Protect whistle blowers.
Supplier Adherence to our Values

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. To ensure all those in our supply chain and contractors comply with our values and ethics we have in place a supply chain compliance programme. This consists of representatives from Human Resources, Procurement, Sales and Finance.

 

Our Effectiveness in Combating Slavery and Human Trafficking

We have close relationships with our customers and supply chain and require them and other relevant parties to immediately advise us if they become aware of any breach or suspected breach. Our customers and supply chain are regularly visited by company representatives.
