About you

As an experienced CNC Turner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of some of our state-of-the-art machinery within our machine shop which is key to the creation of our products. You will have strong organisation skills to organise your workload to deadline as well as a keen eye for detail.

You will be methodical in your production approach and have a general understanding of quality control in your work. Experience within a machine shop working with Mazatrol and/or Fanuc controllers is essential.

About the role

The role is to manage the set up and operation of Alpha Colchester and Mazak Lathes to ensure the production of high-quality parts. As part of the role, you will need a keen eye for detail as the components will be required to conform to drawing specifications. You will be responsible for tool management on the machine as well as keeping a clean and tidy work area.

You will be fundamental in the continuous improvement of the machine shop as we adopt 5S approach and lean manufacturing methodology to make Kelleythorpe a world-renowned facility
