Role Overview

Location Carnaby, Bridlington
Role Type Full Time – 14 month Fixed Term Contract

About you

We are looking for a personable, methodological individual to join our finance team in Carnaby. This person will have a keen eye for detail with a commitment to ensure that processes are followed and adhered to. They will also be confident when resolving queries, able to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to reach a solution.

Experience within an accounts payable role is desirable to ensure that the successful candidate hits the ground running. However, full training will be given to cover any knowledge gaps from previous work experience.

About the role

You will report directly into the Financial Controller for ABGI UK, although will be working alongside other members of the team to support each other and assist during holidays or absence.

The primary functions of the role are the accurate processing of purchase invoices, processing supplier payments, reconciling supplier statements to our ledgers and resolving invoice disputes through internal and external discussions.

Whilst the role is based at Carnaby, you will be processing invoices covering all UK sites (Carnaby and Kelleythorpe). You will also be working with suppliers based both in the UK and overseas, given the nature of our industry and supply chain.
