Environmental Policy

AB Graphic International Ltd is headquartered on the Carnaby Industrial Estate in Bridlington with a second manufacturing site at Kelleythorpe, Driffield, East Yorkshire. It is a leading label converting machinery and digital finishing equipment producer. With experience in developing digital finishing equipment, and continual investment in research and development giving our products the leading edge, A B Graphic International have become market leaders in fully modular digital converting, inspection rewinding equipment and turret rewinding.

The Company is fully committed to the continual improvement of its environmental performance and to pollution prevention through the development and maintenance of an Environmental Management System.

In pursuance of this aim, AB Graphic International Ltd will:

• Comply with all current Environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements relevant to its business.
• Minimise waste through re-use, recycling, and recovery methods wherever practicable.
• Minimise energy consumption and carbon emissions by improving operational efficiency.
• Reduce water consumption and effluent discharge through improved monitoring and water conservation programmes.
• Ensure the efficient use of non-renewable resources.
• Maintain effective controls to reduce the risk of fire and pollution.
• Provide information, instruction and Environmental training to employees and contractors.

This policy will be displayed in the reception areas of both sites, on the HSE noticeboards, and the company intranet to enable viewing by all staff, visitors and contractors.

This policy will be reviewed annually as a minimum along with ABG environmental performance with reference to stated environmental objectives and targets or when there are changes to Legislation.
